ACTION ALERT: Keep Black and Brown folks in their homes
We are in the middle of a public health crisis and an eviction crisis, and we need to keep our people housed.
SB 5160 prohibits evictions for unpaid rent during the eviction moratorium and gives protection to keep people at risk of eviction at home for TWO years more. It also interrupts institutional racism in our courts that limit access to housing for Black, Indigenous, and people of color in the Evergreen state.
Tell lawmakers now: Vote YES on SB 5160 and pass it through the House Committee on Housing, Human Services & Veterans.
