About the Alliance

We Work for Black Lives

Our statewide coalition grew from the hundreds of thousands of people who took to the streets across the state of Washington last summer to say loudly and clearly: Black Lives Matter.

Led by Black leaders working for Black communities across the state of Washington, the Washington Black Lives Matter Alliance represents a mandate from the people: to protect and liberate Black Lives.

With you, we will carry the fight from the streets to Olympia this January.

Steering Committee

The Washington Black Lives Matter Alliance is led by a Steering Committee of Black leaders working for Black communities across the state of Washington.
